Second edition paperback now available

John Charles Bee-Mason (47) joins the expedition team. Cinematographer and Assistant Naturalist. Originally J C Mason, he changed his name to Bee Mason after success making films about bee-keeping. He was a photographer during the war and he is a volunteer with the Scout movement.

The ten scouts shortlisted for selection to join the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition are sent telegrams from the London Head Quarters of The Boy Scouts Association informing them that they should be ready at short notice to come London for the final selection panel.
